"For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)If you are ready to make the decision to accept Jesus into your heart, and to live for Him, here is a simple prayer that you can pray. All prayer is, is talking to God. And it can be done anywhere, anytime, aloud or silently.
As you read the prayer, let the words come from your heart as you talk to the Lord, or you can even pray your own prayer, in your own words.
Dear Lord,If you have made the decision to accept Jesus into your heart, it is important to pray, to read the Bible, to fellowship with a church that can help you mature in your faith, and to surround yourself around other people who love Jesus. I ask that you please forgive me for all the wrong that I have done through my life. I am sorry for all that I have done that has not been what you wanted for me. I am now ready to live for you. Thank you for suffering on the cross for me. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for forgiving me. And thank you for accepting me. Please give me the wisdom to make the right decisions throughout my life. Please keep me in the center of your will.
